So much so I can't see myself playing past the civilization stage until the loss of "hope from hype" wears off. I enjoyed having my creature evolve up to the point where I was consciously making decisions to have him become larger as time progressed and the experience definitely makes the "Creature Stage" the most fun of all for me. I actually wish the game stuck in that sort of approach, as it brings out the personality and character with your creations. I found myself starting to become attached to my "flying devils" I had created that when the random meteor shower hit I felt genuine dismay and fear for any of them getting hit. That said, I'm looking forward to expansion packs and Spore 2.
